Adam Chandler of the Wall Street Journal wrote an article titled: Why ‘Duck Dynasty’ Viewers Heed Its Call. You can read the full version here.
Adam touches on why Duck Dynasty is so popular right now, and why it’s good for us when compared to other reality shows like MTV’s Jersey Shore. Duck Dynasty is a show filled with high morale individuals who value hard work and faith. It’s a treasured piece of Americana that has been missing from television for decades.
Adam says: “In an era when many American television shows are imported or adapted from programs created in other countries, “Duck Dynasty” is unabashedly American. The best news is that watching a real family driven by hard work and rooted in faith is apparently far more interesting to viewers than following the latest machinations of the “Real Housewives.””
It’s great to continue to see Duck Dynasty span across all demographics. It’s not every day a television show can appear on Fox News, The Huffington Post, The Wall Street Journal and Entertainment Tonight at the same time.
