The Daily Mail is reporting that Phil Robertson will not “give or back off”. On Sunday, Phil ended the Bible study class he led with a prayer that include “I will not give or back off from my path because you conquered death, Father, so we are not worried about all the repercussions.”
Earlier in the class, someone thanked him for saying what he said in the GQ Magazine article that got him in trouble with gay rights groups. His response was “I didn’t think much of it at all, but it seems a lot of other people did.”
Phil defended his comments by saying, “I am just reading what was written over 2,000 years ago. Those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom. All I did was quote from the scriptures, but they just didn’t know it. Whether I said it, or they read it, what’s the difference? The sins are the same, humans haven’t changed.
“If you give them the bad news, they’ll start kicking and screaming. But you love them more than you fear them, so you tell them.”
Meanwhile, residents in Phil’s hometown of West Monroe, LA stood beside him at the White’s Ferry Road Church of Christ showing their support by wearing bandannas and Duck Dynasty hats. Millions of fans have also been supporting him by signing online petitions and commenting in online forums.
IF YOU CANNNOT SAY ANY THING ABOUT GAYS IN THIS COUNTRY THEN THER MUSI BE ALOT OF NONE BELIVERS IN THIS USA THE BIBEL TELLS US THIS IS WRONG BUT ALOT OF PEOPLE IMBRACE IT AND THINK ITS OK WELL I FEEL THE SAME WAY AS PHIL AND THE FAMILY
