Phil Robertson and been suspended from the Duck Dynasty show for an indefinite period of time according to A&E Television. Comments he made in GQ Magazine article sparked outrage in the gay and lesbian community, with GLAAD demanding to know if A&E supported Phil’s comments (see “GLAAD Not Happy, Happy, Happy”). A&E released a statement saying “We are extremely disappointed to have read Phil Robertson’s comments in GQ, which are based on his own personal beliefs and are not reflected in the series Duck Dynasty. His personal views in no way reflect those of A+E Networks, who have always been strong supporters and 
champions of the LGBT community.”
I’m interested to see how this all pans out. Duck Dynasty is A&E’s top show and Phil Robertson is its biggest star. Is A&E really going to fire him because he said what he believes, or are they hoping this blows over? Time will tell. In the meantime, tell us what you think in the “Leave a Reply” section below.

Our family fully agrees with and supports Phil and pray that the family will not do any filming without him. christians have a right to speak and quote scripture and their opinions, Hang in there robertson family, you have great faith and many friends who will be standing and praying with and for you !

I love DD, and the values and beliefs that the family displays each week. The acting is bad some of the scripts are bad. It is NOT about that, it is about finally, we get a breath of FRESH AIR. Family Values…. Hearing Jesus’s NAME mentioned on TV. I also like watching Walking Dead, go figure but I will and I hate to use this word (boycott) DD and WD and all shows on A&E if they cater to a handful of people that start out wanting a “piece of the pie” then “half of the pie” then “the whole pie” then “the bakery” It has to STOP, You have and opinion, we have one too. We tolerate you voicing your opinion, Please give us the same courtesy and for that I say Thank You !!!
